At STVT, you will have the opportunity to learn hands-on from our industry-experienced instructors in a simulated shop environment.

With our auto mechanic training, you will gain the skills in troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair and service that you need to work in the automotive service industry. Once you complete the program, you can be ready to begin your new career!

Combination Welding
A career in welding can help open doors to work in a variety of different industries and geographic areas throughout the country. At STVT, our Combination Welding program is designed to prepare you for today’s welding jobs. As a student in one of our welding schools, you will have the chance to learn shielded metal arc welding, gas metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding and flux core arc welding, all of which are needed by many of the growing companies and industries in America today.

Through STVT’s Combination Welding training program, you will also have the chance to learn hands-on from instructors who are experienced in the welding field. They will introduce you to industry-standard welding equipment so you can gain confidence in your skills upon graduation and be ready for your new career opportunity.

At STVT, we are focused on providing the training you need that will prepare you for new career opportunities; and with the externship component of the program, you will have the real-world experience that today’s employers are seeking.

Medical Administrative Assisting Technology
The health care industry is big and, at times, complicated. Professionals with medical administrative skills will be important for years to come, increasing the likelihood of a secure, long-term employment opportunity for individuals with the right training. At STVT, you can take medical administration courses that can teach you the skills employers are looking for.

Through STVT’s medical administration training, you will also be entering a career that gives you the visibility to other positions in the medical industry that can allow you to see how the rest of the medical field works. So, if you ever decide to move to a new position, you will have first-hand knowledge of the positions that interest you most.

Medical Assisting
The health care industry is growing! The move to electronic health records and the aging population are two factors that are driving this growth. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the health care industry is projected to see an increase in the demand for qualified medical staff, including Medical Assistants.

As a Medical Assistant, you can become an important part of a health care team. Your responsibilities could include patient records management, medical laboratory procedures, CPR, scheduling patient appointments and measuring vital signs. At STVT, you’ll learn these skills – all through hands-on medical assistant training.
